Membership Levels and Rules

Membership: Membership in the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club (“Club”) is available in four (4) membership categories. These are:

• Family Membership: For married couples or individuals with or without children under 18 years of age (if a child is 18 or older, they can count as a guest). Family Memberships allow for a maximum of 2 guests, as long as the member is present. The dues are $900.00 + 7% sales tax per year.

In a Family Membership consisting of a married couple, the Husband and Wife will be Members provided both sign the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club Membership Contract and the Rules for the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club. Both the Husband and Wife and their minor children (when accompanied by the Husband or Wife) are entitled to exercise the rights of membership. The Family Membership permits application for rental of temporary boat storage space or temporary lodging in accordance with all applicable contractual requirements.

The dues for a Family Membership are $900.00 per year plus applicable 7% sales tax.

B. Group Membership: For a combination of individuals or families (3) memberships.

Children of all adults participating in the Group Membership under the age of 18 accompanied by the Group Member are entitled to exercise the rights of membership. Children 18 and over must apply for their own personal membership. All Adults participating in the Group Membership are entitled to the application for rental of temporary boat storage or temporary lodging in accordance with all applicable contractual requirements. All adults participating in a Group Membership must separately sign the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club Membership Contract and the Rules for the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club. One designated person is responsible for remitting the full dues payable for the Group Membership.

The dues or a Group Membership are $2,300.00 per year plus applicable 7% sales tax.

C. Corporate Membership “A” : is available to a business having a valid EIN number. The purchaser who signs the contract may designate in writing up to four (4) individuals including the signor/purchaser. Each Corporate Member can bring in up to three (3) guests.

The Purchaser who signs the Contract is responsible for remitting the full dues payable for the Corporate Membership. Any person exercising the rights of Membership must themselves first sign the Rules for the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club. The person who signs the Contract may from time to time change the individuals who may exercise the rights of Membership, but at no time may the number of people who exercise the rights of Membership exceed a total of four (4). Each Corporate Member can bring in up to three (3) guests. The Corporate Membership permits each Corporate Member the application for rental of temporary boat storage space or temporary lodging in accordance with all applicable contractual requirements.

The dues for Corporate Membership “A” are $3,000.00 per year plus applicable 7% sales tax.

D. Corporate Membership “B” : is available to a business having a valid EIN number. The signor/purchaser plus up to three (3) designees can have up to a total of 16 including purchaser, designees and guests, but must call the Club with the names of his guests, purchaser nor designees have to be present.

The Purchaser who signs the Contract is responsible for remitting the full dues payable for the Corporate Membership. Any person exercising the rights of Membership must themselves first sign the Rules for the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club.

The dues for Corporate Membership B are $3,500.00 per year plus applicable 7% sales tax.

Visitors: Member is permitted to bring not more than four (4) Visitors so long as the Member is present. While with the Member, Visitors are allowed the use the facilities and amenities of the Club. Member must notify the Operator’s representative of the names of their Visitors and all Visitors must sign in and out at the Club office. Visitors are not allowed to be present on the Property unless accompanied by a Member. With the prior approval of the Operator’s representative, Member may bring more than four (4) Visitors for a scheduled event at the Pavilion. Visitors are not allowed to bring a boat for personal use unless the member has no boat and is to be used with the Member present, or upon prior approval for the management.

Minors: Direct supervision of all persons under the age of 18 years on the property is required and an adult must accompany such persons at all time. At no time and under no circumstances may a person under the age of 21 years consume alcoholic beverages on the Property.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: Member and Visitors enter and use the Property and all Club facilities and amenities at their own risk. The Member, individually and on behalf of all Visitors of Member, indemnifies and holds harmless: i) the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club, LLC, and ii) all owners, officers, managers, agents, representatives, and employees of either from any and all claims, losses, damages, cost, liabilities, and expenses made against or sustained by Member or Visitors by reason of personal injury to any person, including, death or property damage, from any cause whatsoever associated with or arising out of the occupation or any use of the Property, amenities, or facilities. Member agrees to defend at his expense any such claim or demand made against the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club, LLC, and all owners, officers, managers, agents, representatives, and employees of either.

Carcass Processing: Fish lawfully taken may be processed on the Property provided that the fish carcasses and offal are disposed only in a proper manner and at designated sites. Fish waste may not be placed into the canal. No other animals or game may be processed on the Property.

Trash: All refuse, garbage, and trash must be taken to proper disposal sites. If you use the Pavilion or other facilities and amenities, you must clean up after yourself. Do not leave dirty dishes. LITTERING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

Firearms, etc.: Fireworks, firearms, and other weapons may not be discharged in the Park.

Vehicles: A maximum of two (2) vehicles per Member is allowed in the Park. Such vehicles may be parked in or driven across only designated areas. The Member is responsible for insuring his or her vehicles do not interfere with other Members, Visitors, or Operator’s representatives.

Pets: All pets must be licensed and current with all required inoculations. Member or Member’s Visitors shall maintain all pets on a handheld leash any time the pet is out of doors. Pets may not be tethered or otherwise restrained and left unattended.

No Commercial Activity: No commercial activity or enterprise may be maintained by the Member or Visitors in the Park at any time.

Quiet Time 11:00 pm to 6:30 am is quiet time and during that period no noise is permitted which would reasonably interfere with any Member or Visitors.

Boat and Boat Ramp: All Members and Visitors must operate their boats with safety and courtesy for others. Do not block the boat ramp. No swimming is allowed at the boat ramp.

Recreational Vehicle and Boat Storage: Only Members are permitted to store recreational vehicles and boats on the Property. Terms for recreational vehicle and boat storage shall be defined by the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club, LLC R.V. & Boat Storage Agreement.

Wildlife Laws: All rules and regulations of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are also Rules of the Club. Violation of any such Rule is grounds for termination of the Membership Contract.

Proper Behavior: Courteous behavior is expected of Member and all Visitors at all time. Intoxication, lewdness, brawling, illegal acts, and disorderly conduct are prohibited at all time.

Expulsion: Operator’s representatives have the authority to cancel the Contract and expel any Member at any time for violation of any of these Rules. Members are responsible for the behavior and actions of their Visitors. No refund will be made if the Member is expelled and the Contract terminated.

Defined Terms: All terms defined by the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club Membership Contract or the Recreational Vehicle Part Renal Site Agreement shall have the same meaning in these Rules for the Gulf Hammock Fishing Club.

*To all membership levels. You are entitled to use the pavilion for family functions and those event attendees can exceed the number of your member ship entitlement. The pavilion has to be reserved with Herb or Gail. There is no charge but must be left clean.
